Martin Perez recently completed his service as senior executive (SES) at the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations. As Associate Director for Carbon Management, he oversaw a $7 Billion program to accelerate the deployment of Carbon Capture and Sequestration through partnerships with the private sector. Prior to the DOE, Martin was Senior Vice President of Investment Strategy at GE Capital, Energy Financial Services; Head of Strategy for European gas and power at Shell Energy in London, and a senior consultant at McKinsey's Houston office.
