Jason Morgan
Director of Engineering,
AvCarb Material Solutions
Dr. Jason Morgan is the Director of Engineering at AvCarb Material Solutions, overseeing all research and development initiatives. With nearly two decades of experience in GDL (Gas Diffusion Layer) product development, he has played a pivotal role in the design of numerous high-performance GDLs currently produced by AvCarb. Jason also served as the principal investigator for a 3-year DOE program dedicated to reducing fabrication costs of GDLs, where his team was recognized with the prestigious DOE Fuel Cells Program R&D Award. Jason's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic University, complemented by an M.S. and B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire. Today, Jason and his team continue to focus on advanced development of carbon materials for electrochemical systems.
