As the energy architect responsible for executing and integrating some of the industry’s most complex projects, we are creating synergies between the traditional and new energy sectors on projects like the Northern Endurance Partnership (NEP) – the onshore and offshore infrastructure being built to transport CO2 from carbon capture projects across the United Kingdom’s East Coast industrial cluster to secure storage under the North Sea. An incorporated joint venture established by shareholders bp, Equinor and TotalEnergies, NEP is crucial to achieving net zero in the UK’s most carbon intensive industrial regions.
As a key supplier, we will provide integrated Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (iEPCITM) services for the offshore storage site. We will also extend our Subsea 2.0® platform and control systems to develop the industry’s first all-electric system for carbon transportation and storage. This flagship project will also build on industrialized solutions to simplify field design, reduce infrastructure and installation time, and enable long-distance project development to help the UK achieve its goal of net zero emissions by 2050.
