Hydrogen at Goetze KG
GOETZE has been using their know-how for a number of years to develop and produce valves for safeguarding hydrogen applications. The company is open to technology in all areas, both with regards to the development of fittings for specific industries as well as the use of renewable energies within their company.
GOETZE sees a sustainable and climate-neutral energy carrier in green hydrogen. Through the use of green hydrogen, CO₂ emitting industries of today, such as the steel or chemical industries can produce with less CO₂ and thus in a more climate-neutral way.
It was therefore a logical step to push ahead with product development in the area of safety valves for hydrogen applications with smaller nominal diameters and a component-tested performance of up to 1,500 bar (21755 psi).
GOETZE’s high-pressure safety valves are set on a high-pressure test bench produced specifically for the German company. These types of systems are very uncommon on the market and require specific planning. Using the new test bench as well as its own engineering efforts in the further development of the 492 valve series, Goetze KG achieves a milestone in the field of high-pressure safety valves for technical gases.
With this, GOETZE underlines its expertise as a solution partner in the field of hydrogen applications and contributes its share to achieving "zero CO₂".
