As industries transition toward cleaner energy and decarbonization, the need for reliable, precise, and application-specific gas analysis becomes more pressing. Application 1: Hydrogen Purity Analysis – ISO 14687 Compliance

ISO 14687 specifies strict impurity thresholds for hydrogen used in fuel cell applications. These include contaminants such as CO, CO₂, CH₄, H₂O, O₂, H₂S, NH₃, and total hydrocarbons, often measured at ppb to ppm levels.

AirBreather Capabilities:

  • Multimodal Detection: Simultaneous use of FTIR, GC-PID, and MicroGC with TCD (thermal conductivity detection) to monitor a broad range of contaminants.
  • High Sensitivity & Selectivity: Detection limits suitable for all ISO 14687 thresholds, including sub-ppb measurements where required.
  • Automated Sampling & Reporting: Integrated sample conditioning, data logging, and automated QA/QC routines for regulatory traceability.

Field Deployability: Available in both fixed and portable formats for production site certification or mobile refueling station monitoring

Application 2: Carbon Capture, Transport, and Sequestration (CCS) Monitoring

Carbon capture initiatives require precise gas composition measurements to ensure safety, compliance, and process efficiency during capture, pipeline transport, and underground storage. Impurities such as NOx, SOx, CO, CH₄, and O₂ must be carefully monitored alongside CO₂.
