Natural gas serves an import role towards providing reliable energy toward the electrical grid as we target various industry and national 2050 decarbonization targets. Carbon capture on combined cycle power generation facilities has been widely contemplated and studied this year from a post combustion viewpoint. This presentation will cover some of the considerations key to developing an accurate assessment of a project scope, schedule and budget for carbon capture on a combined cycle facility. Distinctions will be made between brownfield and greenfield projects.
