BioEnergy with Carbon Capture - Unlocking the value of additional revenue streams

27 Jun 2024
Carbon Capture, Utilization, Storage & Blue Hydrogen

Carbon capture technologies present a techno-economically efficient opportunity towards achieving net-zero emissions future. Hydrogen and its carriers, along with carbon capture will be key technology components in the energy transition. A strategic approach for development projects is to consider industrial synergies and maximize the value of hydrogen projects by utilizing available side streams such as oxygen and waste heat in a net-Zero emission ecosystem. Coupling carbon capture and green hydrogen projects for the efficient production biogenic CO2 integrates the three pillars of decarbonization: the advancement of variable renewable sources, enabling waste and circular economy applications, and decarbonize the remaining emissions from hard to abate sectors.

The presentation will present recent project development activities, whereas SFW's carbon capture solutions, SFW Oxy+ for CHP plants, SFW CaL+ for cement plants and SFW HPC+ for waste to energy industry, not only capture CO2 but turn residual byproducts into revenue streams, expanding your business model and ensuring financial feasibility
